Mark Smithdorf will compare the limitations and advantages of 3 distinct treater designs relative to the principles of Stoke’s Law. Supplier names will not be disclosed, however,

specific designs which are unique to individual vendors will be discussed. He will include a brief discussion of the effectiveness of upgrading treater internals to improve performance.

Mark Smithdorf is currently Technical Director, Heavy Oil and SAGD at Jacobs. Prior to this he was General Manager of the Oil Division at Kvaerner Process Systems. Mark has 25 years
