Vendors Presenting

BDH Technologies:

Biological Development of Hydrocarbons (BDH) has many uses. It is a biological treatment using fast acting and safe microorganisms.  BDH can bio crack heavy oil and sludge having heavy, long chain hydrocarbon molecules into shorter and lighter molecules.  Thus, unwanted non-hydrocarbon compounds can be bio catalyzed freeing the bound sulfur and particulates, so they can be washed out.  During this biological transformation process the API gravity of the oil is increased from around API 6 to about API 28 and the viscosity is reduced by orders of magnitude (390.5 mm2/s to 3.355 mm2/s for example) as well as other very positive characteristics.

Dynamic Catalyst Solutions:

History indicates traditional execution approaches are not providing capital efficient results and fail to provide an acceptable rate of return to investors. Several projects are not being funded or are cancelled due to unacceptable capital costs. Lack of zero-based and lean thinking is prominent in our industry. The DCS "Value Model" has the proven tools, practices, methods and technical know-how for achieving maximum capital efficiency. We provide solutions to support the business case such as minimum kit, maximizing modularization and standardization, optimizing supply chain and executing efficiently.

Tendeka Canada:

The Tendeka FloSure Autonous Inflow Control Device (AICD) has been deployed in conventional heavy oil wells in Alberta since 2017. The AICD completion is optimized to preferentially flow higher viscosity oil over lower viscosity water. The result is a completion design that reduces water cut, increasing oil cut improving overall recovery factors in horizontal wells.

The second innovation is FloFuse, a rate limiting control device. FloFuse autonomously limits flow of injected fluids into high permeability zones to ensure effective flow distribution in fractured or highly heterogeneous reservoirs.

Tundra Solutions:

The MSA and General Monitors X5000 and S5000 gas detectors/transmitters are used to ensure personnel, environmental, and facility safety.  The gas detectors monitor for the presence of oxygen, toxic gases (eg. H2S), and combustible gases (eg. methane).  The gas transmitter can be connected to a variety of different detectors including catalytic bead sensors, infrared sensors, and electrochemical sensors.  Based on the sensor input, the gas transmitter is configured to output to a control or SCADA system, and is also available with relay outputs to activate strobes, horns and other alarms.
