Committee Description:

This newly created committee is tasked with leading exciting new event initiatives designed to expand leadership skills, relationships and influence in our heavy oil community and to advocate positively the importance of our energy industry in the Canadian economy and the progressive role we will play in the global energy future. These new initiatives include, but are not limited to, events such as a big name speaker series to support the industry leadership, technology and innovation, professional development events, business programs and events catering to developing professionals.


Committee Member Duties and Responsibilities:

Bi-monthly meetings to collaboratively generate ideas for new networking events, support in securing quality speakers, company presentations, and support the marketing of these new events to maximize attendance and participation.


What experience/skills are ideal in a volunteer for this committee?

Seeking 3-4 individuals with E&P or service provider background working in the energy industry supporting heavy oil.
